Privacy Policy
Effective date: 23 October 2026
MyCompetitiveExams (mycompetitiveexams.com) is a free, independent NEET practice website. Students should be able to practise without their personal information being collected or sold to coaching centres. This policy explains exactly what is stored and why.
1. No accounts, no sign-up
You do not need to register or give an email address or phone number to use the site. We have no user accounts or profile database.
2. Data stored only on your device
The following is saved in your browser's localStorage and is never sent to our servers:
- Mock test answers, results and daily-question progress
- Bookmarked questions
- The name you type for your practice scorecard
- Your theme (light/dark) and analytics consent choice
You can delete all of it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for mycompetitiveexams.com.
3. Shared scorecards
If you choose to share a practice scorecard, the link and QR code contain the name, score and date shown on it, so anyone with the link can see them. Nothing is shared unless you share it yourself.
4. Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and anonymous test events (for example, that a mock test was started or submitted, with the score and accuracy, but never your name). We use this only to improve the site. If you click Decline, Google Analytics is never loaded. If you are under 18, please choose Decline.
To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
5. Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
6. No selling of data, no ads tracking
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with coaching institutes, advertisers or anyone else.
7. Your rights and contact
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask about, correct or erase personal data relating to you. Because we keep no accounts, most data lives only on your device, but you can contact us with any question or complaint at [email protected].
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
